HISTORY
George qualified as a MCIPD, in 1982 and has spent the last 30 years as a Headhunter, working across a wide range of different industry sectors.
His most recent appointment was Group Human Resources Director for a major international Food and Flavours Company.
As Managing Partner of Cockburn Associates, he has assisted many major companies in their search for talented people, across a wide range of industries and different disciplines;
[ CEO, Finance, Group Operations, Production & Marketing Directors to Human Resources and IT.]
The breadth and depth of his knowledge, gained over several decades, has enabled him to bring an original, novel and revealing insight into the process of interviewing.

Profile
George began his career as a Management Trainee with David Sandeman in 1964. He has worked in Retail & Wholesales Sales, Procurement, Production and General Management, and 10 years in Human Resources; finally as HR Director to 6500 employees in a1200 chain of UK Retail Off -Licences.
He set up Cockburn Associates, in1992, after four years as an International Executive Search Consultant with Horton International, and since then has been working across a wide range of different industry sectors and assisted many major companies in their search for talented people, across a wide range of industries and different disciplines [ From CEO, Finance, Group Operations, Production & Marketing Directors to Human Resources and IT.]
